"Top-notch. Was initially concerned because there was no fridge in the room—am traveling w/ meds that require refrigeration. Staff were on it: fridge was delivered to my room in 5 minutes—and they kept my re-usable ice packs in their freezer. So helpful w/ transportation, etc. Dinner was lovely—nice to have a decent restaurant right on-site—but there’s a large supermarket adjacent to the property as well. Beds were comfy. Really appreciate the hospitality. Thanks."

"This hotel is in a sweet location on the high street in downtown, quaint, waterfront South Queensferry. Our room faced the church and provided a beautiful old-town view. The staff were outstanding - helped us figure out parking and greeted us regularly with warmth. There are multiple lovely coffee shops and restaurants nearby. We really enjoyed The Boat House restaurant a very short walk from the hotel. Our bed was super comfortable. The place has an "old town feel" but provides modern convenience (lovely large bathroom, for example). We will stay again when we are in the area."

"Read the reviews before we booked 2 rooms for 2 nights at over £1000, was skeptical about the buffet breakfast, room not being cleaned and the pool being closed, had stayed at another village hotel recently and had a great experience. The breakfast was ok, but could have been more choice and a bit better, the rooms were refreshed on our request, surprisingly the pool was closed for our entire stay, which was one the main reasons we booked this hotel, for the kids. The gym was nice. We paid a premium to stay in August, but not worth more than £150 per night in my opinion. Inc breakfast Hermine on reception was very nice."

"We had a lovely stay at Norton Hotel in Edinburgh. The room was ideal for our family, really spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Breakfast was great too, with lots of choice. Honestly, I can’t think of anything negative to say about our stay. Would we come back? Definitely!"
