"Transportation to the airport was a game changer! The driver Craig was a super nice and friendly guy. We were able to drop our rental car and get picked up by the shuttle and take it back to the hotel for the night which is really great tourist. The driver the night before was really nice as well but I forget his name. We will definitely use this hotel on our next visit to Scotland, an amazing and beautiful country."

"The staff was friendly and helpful. Construction surrounding the hotel resulted in water damage/leaks requiring multiple stinky buckets just outside our door for the entire stay. It was difficult to enter/exit the room without getting wet, especially when carrying luggage. Some maintenance (broken switch) in room, but the maintenance staff was pleasant and resolved the issue within a day. Room was large."

"Great location on a quiet street right off the Royal Mile. Steps away from St Giles Cathedral and very close to Grassmarket. Easy walk to Waverley station. Would advise using a cab to the hotel if you have large bags as uphill walk can be tough. Much easier to go downhill. Rooms were great and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again."

"This is a nice hotel overall. The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean. There was no desk, microwave, or a true refrigerator. There was plenty of hot water. Our biggest complaint was our room was hot and there is no air conditioning. We did open the windows and that help some. The restaurant and bar have the same menu. There are not a lot of selections and there are no other restaurants nearby. "

"Short but sweet stay. Booked after running the Edinburgh Marathon. I had messaged ahead of time to enquire if there was a bath tub in the room. Heather was dealing with our messages. Very accommodating. Also arrived to a nice welcome note and some chocolates in the room. Little things but just made the stay that bit more special. We ate at the antico bar restaurant and again, staff just so attentive. I would say the pictures on the website don’t do the hotel justice. Our room looked fantastic and the views of the sunrise over the bridge was special. Will definitely find time to return. "
