"Heating system not working while being at -3 degree and the house isolation system is not efficient for winter, from the doors and windows you can feel the cold wind coming in. "The room was clean. However, it was a very hot day and the air conditioning did not cool the room, even when left overnight. There were some strange features like a hugely oversized head board and a tiny television. One end of the room was painted black. Lots of attempts at style but felt that this is at the expense of the usefulness, like tiny side bedlamps which were only lit if the whole headboard was lit up too. Breakfast was mediocre. Shame as the staff were all lovely."

"As for me as a solo traveler this hotel was perfect for me.. My room was on the 1st floor.. A/C worked great, and the bed was comfortable.. The shower was great and breakfast was good.. Its an older hotel so the halls have old carpet.. But the room had new windows and could hear nothing from outside.. Parking garage across street at train station.. And plenty of food options all around.. I will stay here again next time I come.."

"Room was clean and nice location for walking along the river and in to old town. Confirmed during check in that AC was operational as it is very hot this week. Told it was to then find out the restrict your ability to use it. Room would not go below 18 and it was warm, stuffy and sticky in there so not an enjoyable stay. Staff assistance was requested with no solution or override of system provided. Not impressed and would not stay again in warm weather."
