Nice stay in a great location

Nice hotel with a great location. We were there to check out the Christmas Market and the walk was short. Underground parking was a plus (extra fee), but spots are limited. The front desk person was very helpful and friendly.

B&B Hotel Aachen was really central, close to the old town so easy to explore the area. There were lots of bars and restaurants within easy reach, and although there was no direct hotel parking, the hotel has a link with a local car park and offers a good discount.

This hotel was clean, functional, no real complaints. I didn't love the "check in with a machine" process - it just felt so impersonal. But there were staff available to meet needs. Overall a fine hotel, decent stay.

Very good for a budget hotel, but disappointed not to find a kettle in the rooms. The vending machine products were not an enjoyable substitute. Location very good for city centre, helpful staff.

I didn't appreciate being extorted for 15 euros to check in 3 hours early after a red-eye international flight when room was already prepared. Property is conveniently located along pedestrian retail street and easy walking distance to tourist attractions like Dome, but prudes should be aware that red-light district is literally around the corner.

There were a few people who were just hanging around the door area near the hotel smoking and watching tourists drift in and out. A couple times they would walk towards a person and bump into them and then apologize. They did this a lot. I also accidentally left a bag with souvenirs in the hotel room. It was never found or seen again.

B&B hotel was a great basic base for exploring the city of Aachen. The rooms were tidy, clean and the beds very comfy. The hotel was based in a great area as well making it easy to come back to. The hotel itself however didn't have anywhere to store luggage prior to check-in so we had to leave our luggage at the train station which was quite inconvenient to walk back to. There was also only one lift for the whole hotel, so it took a long time to get to your room. Finally, the hotel suggested to use the self-check-in as we entered, and when we did it tried to charge us when we had already paid for the room. When we went to check-in at the desk instead, we were again asked to pay, all was quickly resolved as we could show that we had already paid however it was quite an annoying check-in process and if we were less savvy or tired from travelling, we could have accidentally paid twice.

Das Hotel befindet sich mitten in einer Fußgängerzone. Dementsprechend war die Umgebung sehr laut. Des Weiteren konnten man in gegenüberliegenden Gebäuden in die Räumlichkeiten sehen. Fazit: Kurzaufenthalt vollkommen in Ordnung. Aber für mehr als zwei Tage, könnte es anstrengend werden.

I have been misled when I booked the hotel. The Expedia site stated parking and breakfast was available. That meant for me it is included it didn’t specify that I had to pay extra for breakfast and parking. It didn’t mention that I had to pay extra when I booked. I had to park my car elsewhere and find breakfast both at a cost, which was very inconvenient and disappointing. There was also no manager around to assist, only the receptionist who couldn’t do anything

Unser Zimmer war proper, gut und pfiffig eingerichtet, die Rezeptionisten waren freundlich, alles in Allem: prima Optimieren könnte man: Gäste, die mit dem Auto anreisen, deitlich darauf hinweisen, dass das Hotel in einer Fußgängerzone liegt und nicht unter seiner Adresse angesteuert werden kann. Uns hätte das einige Zeit und Nerven erspart.

The hotel is spotless. They held our luggage so we could go find the parking which was about a block away. The rooms are very clean and plenty of room for all our suitcases. Breakfast was wonderful. Great area.
