"Parking excellent, staff excellent very hospitable and pleasant. Bit of a hike up to the room, which had a slight odour to it, not a pleasant one. Faulty plug in the hand basin, water wouldn't drain. I was only staying 1 night so could cope. I'm pretty sure if I'd made a complaint it would have been dealt with as the staff were very attentive. Would I stay again? Yes. Literally a 15 minute drive to where I needed to be in the national park, plenty of restaurants/shops in the town centre which was a few minutes walk away."

"Breakfast super and dinner on Saturday night very enjoyable.
Staff were excellent and made the stay even better.
The bar, and the outside seating area very comfortable and we enjoyed our drinks in the sunshine.
Golf course, although we didn’t play looked in extremely good condition.
A great break away. Could have stayed longer. "

"Stay was ok for price paid however is dated and tired especially bathroom area, needs general maintenance, re grouting, paintwork etc.
Breakfast was poor, basically cereal and toast, paid extra for cooked breakfast which was small and nothing special.
It wasn't the worst hotel I have stayed in but I wouldn't return.
Shame as the building and grounds are incredible. "
