"The house was large and spacious with more than enough space for our party of 6. The inside of the house was well maintained with nice furniture, TV, and pool table. It was in a very quiet neighborhood with small farms next door. Definitely need a car since there is nothing within walking distance. For the price, this was a good value. On the downside, it seems there is some maintenance work being done outside and the tools and garden hose were just left lying around and were not put away. "We had a great time at Aalma da Ria. It’s about 10 minutes from Aveiro with the car. There is a main house, with kitchen and common spaces, and then there are the lodges. 8/10 Good

"Location was excellent. Walking distance to many tourist attractions and places to eat. The staff in the Reception were welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was good, there was a selection of cold and cooked breakfast provided. The room was standard, clean and the mattress was comfortable. The hot water in the shower was difficult to regulate. Wi-Fi and internet speed were excellent. Overall we were happy with this old fashioned hotel which it a bit of history."
