"There was used soap and shampoo left in the shower. Ice machine did not work. Breakfasts was a muffin. Everyone can’t eat a muffin that’s filled with sugar. I’ve stayed here many times. Very disappointed this time. Will not stay here again. "

"Front desk staff ‘Forest’, she helped me for quick check in as we were in rush to drop our luggage and then leave for another place. Breakfast was served warm and the area was kept super clean. Room was ready clean and fresh. Location is great, the stream flows adjacent to the property. It has a deck with chairs and tables to enjoy morning break fast or evening drinks with family and friends. The location is though 20 minutes drive from Cherokee downtown but it’s worth coming out of city buzz and stay in calm environment. If I visit Cherokee NC again, will definitely stay at Best Western Place."

"The remodel and update of the hotel was wonderful. Staff was great to interact with. Location was perfect, we were able to get to everything within 15 minutes. A little gem hidden up in the mountains. Highly recommend"

"It took over almost two hours to get our luggage sent to our room from the valet. The person at the valet desk took our ticket and the went on Break. and forgot about us. There was a bogus $39 long distance charge on our bill that had to be removed. Accoyto the front desk it was accidentally added to everyone's bill due to a system outage. I wonder how many people accidentally poo aid it? I ordered sushi and fish and chips from Gordon Ramsays food court. It took 2 minutes to get the fish and chips (great food) and 45 minutes to get a sushi roll. I have never seen 3people move slower than the sushi staff. Lastly, it took over an hour to get our car from the valet when we checked out. The report was pretty, the room was clean, but the service was not what you would expect for an $800 per night room."

"Loved that our large deck was about 6' from the creek as it swiftly flowed over rocks making little white caps and white sound of rushing water soothed away all our troubles There's a large round wrought iron table on the deck with armed chairs. Bring a cushion. The interior is a one bedroom corrage. The fully stocked kitchen isn't fully stocked, however. 3 nice pots, but only one fry pan, an older "copper," finish. The only spatula made for coated frypans is extremely flimsy. They have nice stainless steel ones, however. Good to use on the outdoor grill. The queen size bed is to die for, lots of closet room as well. Nice big natural stone gas log fireplace that doesn't work. Would be helpful in taking the chill off. But there is one electric healer built into the living area wall, and a baseboard heater in the bedroom. All in all, we had a great time. "
