"The location was perfect for my needs. The room was tastefully decorated. There was no issue with the separate bathroom. The bed was a bit creaky and a mattress topper would be a good investment. My coffee machine didn’t work but had instant coffee. There was no continental breakfast left in the room unfortunately. The house beer in pub great .. Staff were friendly. A very comfortable place to stay. Tucked away from the road, the accommodation on the first floor of the barn was spacious, clean and quiet. The heating is very good, and the bathroom large and modern. Drew and Debra were friendly and attentive hosts, and Drew kindly gave us suggestions for nearby dinner options - we chose The Little Brown Jug, a short drive away and enjoyed a great meal. The beautifully cooked English breakfast provided by Debra was delicious too. Highly recommended!

It should be noted that this is a Pub with rooms and not a Hotel which means that you cannot expect the services of a hotel i.e no porterage, no room service ,no air conditioning etc. In saying that we enjoyed our stay here as we spent a lot of time out of the hotel on day trips. Room was of a decent size although difficult to get to with all the stairs (no lift) The included breakfast here was great as it was sufficient to last us well into the day and the staff were a friendly bunch.
