Had fun. Easy access to the river and other little day trips. The only downside is the road noise. Overall a great place to stay.

Twin Trees Retreat was a perfect location to enjoy the Redwoods and nearby towns. We enjoyed the games and amenities. Host was fantastic to work with and had a binder that listed things going on around town for the 4th which was appreciated!

The property was just what we were looking for. Close to Redwoods and the coast, and it was a comfortable place for our family to stay. The enclosed backyard was a bonus for our doggy to be able to run around without her leash attached.

This house was older, so it has some issues, but it was fun and the property manager Sandy was very responsible and nice. We had a good time and I would rent it again.

We really enjoyed our stay here! Beautifully kept home with amazing porch & fenced backyard. Great large family home with lots of entertainment at the house. We had everything we wanted and more. One of my favorite rental houses of all time! Very professional owners who really understand how to host a cozy, clean home. We are definitely going to stay again.

The house was clean and nice. The upstairs was hot and uncomfortable with narrow stairs. We still enjoyed our stay.
Thanks

New kitchen, older house but perfect to use as a base to explore redwoods all day. Private and 2 min from Jedediah Smith campground and river access. 5 min from Howland Hill and about 15 min from town.
Front porch is nice to place to eat dinner. It fit my large family and was a good place to unwind after day long adventures in the redwoods

This house was perfect for us and our 2 standard poodles. We could hike in the redwoods and have access to beautiful beaches in the same afternoon. We will definitely stay here again.

We took five of our older girl scouts to the redwoods. The house was perfect it has rooms up stairs for the girls to share and the leaders on the main floor. We could all eat in the kitchen which was really nice. The yard allowed room for the girls to practice volleyball in the evenings as they unwinded for the day. Each night we sat on the porch listening to the river across the street. Sandy was very fast responding to all of our questions. It is easy accessed and near trail heads, visitor center and a shirt 10 minute drive for groceries. Would definitely stay here again.

The house was just as described. It is close to a main road but since we spent most of the day exploring traffic noise wasn't a problem and by the time everyone was ready for bed traffic had slowed way down so again we had no problem. We liked the secure yard for our dog and there was an unexpected supply of games for us to enjoy with the kids indoors at night.

Sandy and Jessyka made check in easy and rapidly replied to questions. Very convenient location for redwoods. This is a nice place for family members to gather as there are lots of chairs on the front porch, two tables in the back, two couches in the living room. Kitchen is really nice and well equipped. Beds are comfy. Drawbacks are lots of road noise and no bathroom on second floor. Both are on first floor.

I was extremely pleased with Jessica and asking sure we were all set before her days off.. the house was very clean, only rated a four because of a sucker stick missed on floor, and previous guests cigarette butts, and dog poop in yard.. other then that house was perfect and made me feel safe with covid precautions..

Cute home within 5 minutes to Jedediah Smith campground. 5 minute drive to the river across the street. The upstairs is more of a converted attic, so it did get a little warm. We could open the windows and fans were provided which helped cool it down. My only real complaint, which might be because of covid, was that there were no basic spices, like salt/pepper, and an oil/pam, etc. I don't necessarily travel with stuff like that and you have to buy a large quantity to use just a small amount.

This home was a good size for our 2 families totaling 9. 4 adults 1 teenager and 3 children. Our only concern was the upstairs bedrooms got way to hot on sunny days and then very hard to cool down at night. Ceiling fans would be a great investment in the upstairs bedrooms otherwise I would invest in some better insulation in the roof/attic. The front bathroom was very nice and fit my 6’4” best friend very comfortable. The back shower was not the same. Anyone over 5’5” will have to bend way down to shower and it’s not very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and the laundry room was well stocked too. The main floor of the house was always cool and comfortable. We used the backyard to eat dinner one night since the kitchen table only allows 6 people it was nice until the mosquitoes started to come out. For the reminder of the trip we sat on the front porch for our dinner enjoying the evening until the mosquitoes came out. The road in front of the house is a busy road and people drive fast. We found it best to back into the driveway so we could see traffic before pulling out onto the road. The location is perfect for sightseeing in the Redwoods and Crescent City. I would recommend this house to other friends who want to visit this area and would definitely bring my family back.

My family and I loved this property for our 6-night stay while we explored Redwoods and Smith River. The house was perfect for the six of us... roomy, clean, comfortable, and the fenced backyard was great... with outdoor tables and chairs, bbq, dogs were safely contained. Beds were comfortable (especially Master), towels were so, so soft, top-notch kitchen appliances (plentiful ice), comfy couches, fun puzzle and games! This house, and it's great location, served us perfectly from morning coffee and breakfast, to the backyard for happy hour after exploring trails of magnificent Redwoods or sandy beaches near Crescent City, to backyard card games as the sun set through the trees. We all loved this place. And thanks to the property manager Sandy and office assistant Jessyka, all questions were promptly answered with warm and friendly phone conversations and e-mails. Thank you for all of your assistance, Jessyka!

It would have been helpful to know that it was an older house and that the doorways were so shirt as we are all tall people. Also extra blankets for the beds and a throw blanket would have been nice to have. Other than that though we had a great stay

We had a nice time, but the property was not what I expected. Based on all the images of the river on the listing, I was under the impression you could see the river from the home, or easily access the river. This was not true. The home is located on a fairly busy & somewhat noisy highway. We set out to look for the river and cars were zooming by us, honking. Then, to actually access the river, we had to go do a steep, rocky embankment. There was litter, graphic grafitti and rusty metal all over at the site we accessed the river.
We may have been accessing the river at the wrong location, but that is hard to say because the property managers did not provide any info. We called them to ask, and while nice, they were not very helpful.
Overall, the home was nice. It was pretty much exactly what the pictures portrayed. It just wasn't a quiet retreat on the river like I thought it was going to be. The kitchen did not have seasoning, no coffee was provided for the morning, and there were not enough towels for everyone, though we had listed the number of guests coming to stay.
I would recommend this place to people traveling long distance and just wanting a place to stay. I would not recommend this place to people from the region looking for a weekend getaway.

Location was awesome. Check In time was a little late, and when we arrived cleaning lady was still there, that part was little disappointing. Otherwise great stay. Would stay there again.
