"Loved the view from the room and the beds were comfortable. The hallways are tiled and it was very loud with people coming and going all the time and the doors all slammed shut (no soft closes). Also, breakfast is not included, so that was a bit misleading. And we had horrible service the day we did get breakfast. The server took our order and then immediately asked us to check out (before we got drinks or anything), so she could take her break. She did bring our food out, but then immediately left (as in we saw her walk out the front door and leave the building) and we never saw her again. So we couldn’t get a glass of water or extra napkins and didn’t get refills on coffee or any of that sort of thing. But service for dinner the night before was much better.
The property itself needs quite a bit of repair and updating. Lots of rust (understandable being by the ocean, but still). The fan in the bathroom didn’t work properly so the shower steam wouldn’t clear out. We used the pool, but the jets in the hot tub didn’t work. Lots of broken equipment and random toys and things laying around. So not the best upkeep or attention. But was fine for a couple nights. It was nice being right on the beach and close to the lighthouse."
