The hotel is on the ocean with a small beachfront. Beautiful sunset. Pets are allowed at this resort. There were so many big dogs. The room was well worn. Needs upgrades. The bed was comfortable.

This was a very convenient location for us, next to the glorious Jedediah Smith State Park and the wonderful Redwood National & State Park. The hotel is right on the beach, and we had a lovely view from our balcony, although fogged in most of the time while we were there! The onsite restaurant was very convenient and loved the pool table in the lobby — families were having fun with it. There is also a great brewery within walking distance down the street. The property seems to be getting a little bit shabby, and we could have used an extra blanket, but the staff was helpful and courteous, and we were certainly comfortable and happy with our choice!
