"A great place to stay if you are taking a cruise. On arrival, we were met by a concierge who unloaded our bags onto a cart. He gave us a card with a number to call once we arrived in our room. I called the number and our bags were delivered within ten minutes. I booked a premium suite with a harbor view, and the room was very spacious and clean. On checking out, we called the same number, and a porter arrived to take our bags and take them directly to the cruise terminal for processing. We did not have to handle them at all and were delivered to our suite on board. The only drawback was that I did not book the room with breakfast included, They have a very good buffet with no fake food (i.e. eggs) but all fresh with a wide variety of items. price of the buffet was 44CDN or about 35USD. You do have to option of ordering from the menu but can add up to more than the 44CDN. All-in-all, I recommend this hotel even though a litlle pricey."

"Clean, bright room and sunset view. Property is dated with an aesthetic I can’t quite name - 90’s nightclub chic? Hotel was full of youth sports teams which was quite delightful until it wasn’t. I would never recommend any adult stay here for a restful or respectful stay. Hallways jammed with kids playing tag, the nice outdoor pool (hot tub out of order) was a complete gong show - and this is coming from a parent with young kids."

"Lovely room, although the soundproofing between rooms was not as impressive as the soundproofing from the runways. Great views. One quibble: we might have been tempted to pay too much for the half bottle of wine in the bar fridge, however it was AMERICAN wine. BC Liquor stores haven't stocked that stuff in over a year, no reason to offer it in a Canadian hotel chain."

"We stayed in the Sea to Sky Suite on the fifth floor. Well worth the upgrade. The patio was huge and it overlooks the heated pool. Our suite was very clean and very spacious. A one bedroom king. You also overlook the harbor. During the World Cup you look straight at the screen that every match be televised. We also had Gold Room access. I’m not sure that is worth it. The space was to small compared to the Fairmont Empress on Victoria Island. It was much larger and more luxurious. At this Fairmont the space was way over crowded. At breakfast I felt like I was at Hampton Inn. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Regardless, I loved the hotel. Be prepared to be around a lot of tourists when you go outside. The ships also dock there. One last note my partner and I had a late lunch at the restaurant. Fabulous service and staff! Way to go! Food was good. I had the filet and mashed potatoes. Delicious. My partner had the chicken. Delicious again. Check out was great at noon. Our car was parked at the door, suitcases packed by the bellboy and we were off. Vancouver is beautiful."
