Excellent hotel in a great location, with very welcoming desk staff. Very clean room, and comfortable beds; no air conditioning but windows can be opened. Walkable to metro and many local attractions, including Tivoli Gardens. City center noise until late, but to be expected. The only issue was the completely useless wifi in the room (lobby area was fine). Staff attempted to look into the issue but nothing was resolved. Previous reviews suggest it’s an ongoing problem.

Very expensive for what it is - very small room. The breakfast was absolutely heaving, it was like a Black Friday sale trying to get to the toaster. Overall, quite disappointing - others have noted it can be noisy and it is by a busy bit of Copenhagen, but we didn't find this bothered us at all. It was more the tiny room and bazillion people at breakfast that we really didn't like in our experience.

Great staff always willing to help. Very clean hotel. Room was outstanding. Street out front gets a little noisy at times due to close proximity to bars but thats normal for any downtown area.

Excellent Hotel and we’re really enjoyed staying at The Square. With the gold status as an Expedia’s member, we got a free room upgrade and free use of The Lounge where we can have free alcohol and non alcohol drinks and some snacks during 2pm until 9pm. We will stay again if we go to Copenhagen next time

Centrally located with the metro only a minute away. Tons of food options nearby as well as shopping. Super close to Tivoli and other main attractions to visit when in Copenhagen. Our room was big to accommodate the 3 guests and comfortable. With the pillows were better though. Overall, would stay again :)

I loved the VIP access it made my birthday very memorable i also loved the staff they were all so lovely the hotel was excellently located right in the heart of everything and close to transport and restaurants also the hotel felt very warm and inviting with all the added touches like the art and flowers throughout the lobby, our room was very nice our only negative during the stay was that we had very little water pressure in our shower which made having showers a slight task but otherwise we loved our stay so much

Quite noisy at night
Room was clean, plenty of choice at breakfast - however the hotel isn't very well soundproofed with plenty of noise from outside at night (despite us being on the 5th Floor). I think our room was 5 floors above a pub and the music reverberated through the structure of the building - not too obtrusive, just a background irritation that kept me awake.

Excellent Location
Perfect location, central to many locations. Easy to reach on 5C bus from airport, 30 mins and just a few pounds (DOT app), Bus stop is less than minute walk from Hotel. Train station 10 mins away..with a 35 trip to Sweden! Edge of town is opposite hotel so easy to walk straight through to Nyhavn and Little Mermaid whilst window shopping. Head East to more bars and restaurants. Hotel is little ugly outside but modern inside, we had access to Executive Lounge so free drinks compensated cost of local hospitality! Room lacking in character but seems to be the Scandi way, so not unusual. Staff very friendly, arrived early and cases locked away until room ready. Given alternative hotels, this is excellent value for money and a prime spot to explore Copenhagen from. Would 100% stay here in future.

Wonderful hotel nice clean compact room perfect for a solo traveler. Room very clean and comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast with a good variety. Eco friendly. Reception staff very helpful and catered for all needs. Only minor gripe was the cleaning of the outside windows in the early hours one morning. But a wonderful hotel in central Copenhagen.

Perfect location, easily walkable to most main attractions and access to excellent public transport. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, offering efficient check-in and help throughout our stay, whatever the problem. The room was a little warm as the AC is off during winter and the bathroom underfloor heating is aggressive - without hesitation they supplied a fan. The room itself was a little compact but had everything and was very clean. We particularly enjoyed the Executive Lounge VIP access. I would not hesitate to recommend this place and would definitely stay again.

Brilliantly located for sightseeing, metro and buses. We had a double bed plus sofa bed for 3rd person, extremely tight fit. Could barely get round end of sofa bed due to permanent shelf/ desk position, so hard to reach curtains. Room was too hot, even with radiators off. Tried opening window but one of the hinges had bust and we were concerned the open window could be damaged by wind and fall off! We alerted them when we checked out. (We didn’t want the hassle of moving rooms during our stay.) View was over a ‘courtyard’ of a building site and scaffolding. First morning we were woken at 07:20 by the sound of builders using a very powerful blow torch. We called reception to complain but no one answered! Staff were kind, helpful and courteous on all occasions when we spoke with them.
