"The hotel is clean and esthetically apealing. The bed was bery comfortable, bathroom is beautiful amd comfortable. Location is fantastic; it always felt safe, it is adjacent to Carnegie Hall and in short walking diatance to MOMA, Central Park, 5th Av., etc. There's always a cab at tbe entrance and we used Uber allot never waiting more than a couple of min.,
The restaurant is decent - the food is tasty and the coffee is good, but the menue is rather short on options. Still my vegan wife was able to find dishes that worked for her. There are planty of good dining options in a short walking distance around the hotel and of course in a short ride distance too. To sum it up, it was a good stay for us and we'll come again on our next visit."
"This hotel was perfect for first time vacationers to New York.
The room was spacious and clean. We had a walk in closet. The bathroom was great. Nice view of 6th street. The hotel is decorated in classic 1920s style, which we loved.
The front desk and concierge, door man and other staff were very helpful and nice.
This hotel is located with in walking distance of several major attractions and restaurants. A subway access point is a block a way. A couple of convenience stores and coffee shops are also extremely close.
40min taxi ride feom JFK.
When we come back NY in the future we will definitely stay there again!"
