"If there was a sign at the front that would have helped. Also we didn't get any body wash which was a little bit annoying. There were also some tiles in both bathrooms that needed fixing as well as the showerhead in the main shower. Other than that we loved our stay at Silky Oak Cottage, many thanks"

"RidgeView is in a very quiet location, surrounded by bush and vineyards. This is the perfect place to escape the business of life and relax among the trees with a glass of wine. Our kids enjoyed the pool, which surprisingly was a decent size."

"Would definitely recommend Lonely Goat Olives for a farm stay experience in the Hunter Valley. We had a fantastic time soaking in the views, catching fish and roasting marshmallows on the fire. Kids didn't want to leave."

Can walk to shops and a short drive you have almost any shop or service you want. Took my pups and lovely and flat for walking and taking in the scenery. Note: lots of barking dogs in the neighborhood, may have been tourists but some barked for extended periods of time including the immediate Neighbour. Fenced yard was great with perfect lawn. "Good little property that is tucked away behind the vineyards in the Hunter with friendly horses on the property. They did not look like Clydesdales though. Good out door area for dogs to run and play and enclosed indoor dining area as shelter from the rain. The decor and property was a bit dated and lacked enough kitchen ware for the number of guests we booked for. If the property is updated a bit more, we would certainly return on a regular basis as the location suited our liking."

A tiny recommendation would be to upgrade tech like TV, get new movie titles, provide wifi and a basic welcome basket maybe. Other than that, the hosts were so easy to communicate with and helpful.
