"Our first time at LH. A well-managed property, in a quaint old-style manor. An excellent kitchen, with the quality of food being absolutely top-notch. (Breakfasts were an exception with the staff being slow or poorly organized.). "

"This is the second time we have stayed in this house. It was perfect as for us as a large group visiting Kitchener to play in the KW Oldtimers hockey tournament. Mike and Sara were very responsive to any questions before and during our stay. The house is well taken care of, the beds were comfortable and the house was stocked with the basics we needed for the weekend. (shower towels, tea towels, sugar, coffee, paper towels and toilet paper, dishwasher tabs) There is a nice open concept kitchen dining/living room that accommodated our group of 12 well. We had everything we needed for cooking breakfast (adequate dishes, glasses, mugs, cutlery & frying pans etc). We were out for lunch and brought in food at dinner b/c of the hockey schedule. I'm sure if we are back in Kitchener we will stay here again! We did need an extra parking space b/c of our large group but it was easy to go online to the City of Kitchener website to request a "parking exemption" for overnight street parking. "The outside of the home had ripped up garbage all over the ground. The keypad for entry had a low nattery so it was both difficult and time consuming to get in. Manager was notified about this issue with no response. One of the beds was only a box spring and the slats under it were broken. The house was nice and clean. But had to go serching for towels. Location was good as it was right off the highway. "
