A wonderful quiet area on a corner of a quiet intersection. If I needed to mention something some may consider a negative it would be no paved parking places.

Our stay at Maryhill was wonderful. We were greeted by our host and his sidekick Chester. We were shown around, and then to our room. We stayed in the Cottage Room. It was extremely clean and cozy. We enjoyed some Netflix with warm cozy blankets to finish off our evening. In the mornings we woke to the smell of bacon. Our hostess prepared us a delicious breakfast of homemade blueberry french toast, with amazing french press coffee. The Inn was a perfect place to relax and cuddle. Our hosts were extremely friendly, kind and helpful. We plan to visit again bext time we are in the area.

We enjoyed a wonderful one-night stay at the Maryhill Inn. Our room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The included breakfast was delicious (bacon, eggs, toast, yogurt with a yummy nut topping, and a wonderful pot of tea). Our host and hostess were excellent and we enjoyed our conversations with them. We stayed while visiting Guelph briefly for a concert at the River Run Centre.

This was our first stay at the Inn. Checkin wasn’t smooth as we arrived. Went to front door of inn and knocked and waited. Finally a small white dog appeared at the window so we waited some more. It was cold and wasn’t intuitive that we were at the correct entrance. Our room was fine but extremely warm - stuffy. No convenient areas to plug in devices for charging, no bedside lamps to read from or turn on/off from the bed, bathroom was old and towel bars,toilet tissue holder, shower rod, were all loose and unsteady. Breakfast in the morning was one option and made for each couple staying. All four couples arrived at breakfast at same Time and all had to wait for each couples breakfast (French toast, bacon ) to be prepared before theirs was then made. Very in efficient way to serve. No juice offered only coffee (tea was offer D to one coule as they didn’t take coffee was wasn’t readily available. Also the dog was present while eating in the dining room and floor was fully carpeted which leads to a feeling of not clean. Was fine for a night but will not stay again nor recommend.
