"This was a very special weekend for 15 family members aged between 17 and 86. Everyone had a marvelous time. lots for all ages. Long walks, visits to local pubs; the micro-brewery +pizza, Blenheim, pool table......and lots more. We had a caterer for one night - Mirands - who was fantastic. She produced a delicious buffet, catering for all tastes, and then stayed for the whole meal, clearing up, loading the dishwasher etc and just generally being very nice and helpful and good-humoured. There was masses of space . The grandparents really appreciated the downstairs bedroom and wet room, and what was, in effect, their own apartment. Particularly good for any mobility problems, and the rollator worked really well on the flat floor. Layout upstairs was rather eccentric and querky, but plenty of room for everyone! The kitchen was enormous, and very well equipped, with plenty of seating etc for a large party."

"Lovely little cottage with excellent amenities and very close to the town centre i.e. walkable (although uphill). Check in process was very smooth and our host Kirsty was friendly and welcoming. This cottage is probably not suitable for anyone with mobility issues because the two flights of stairs are very steep and narrow, it took several attempts to get our bags up & down and we are fit and healthy! We very much appreciated the welcome basket and used almost everything in it."
