This historic estate was beautifully remodeled to bring it into the 21st century and restore its charm. This is the ideal place for a family gathering as it is spacious both inside and out. Enjoy the deck and fire pit with mountain views in the large, private, fully fenced-in yard. The property boasts a bright, modern kitchen, a comfortable living room, a large dining area and luxurious bathrooms including a free-standing tub where you can relax and enjoy your Colorado Springs getaway!

The space has the charm of an 1800s estate with all the features of a modern home. This place is perfect for gatherings of family and friends as it has plenty of space to entertain both inside and out.

There is an apartment above the house which is occupied by a tenant who is quiet and respectful.

Lovely house! Well equipped and comfortable. Tenant upstairs was virtually undetectable. But we did meet the tenant and is really nice. Just wish the road noise was a little quieter.

Great trip

Had a great time during our 4-day stay. This is our 2nd time staying in Lake Forest, and we love the quiet atmosphere, pond, and community pool. Everything is only a 2-3 mile bike ride (or shuttle ride) away, including the beach.

Perfect in every way!

We have stayed in Sea Pines the past 3 years and this by far has been our favorite place. The owners and Relax Rentals have thought of everything. The communication is amazing! We certainly hope to be back if they will have us.

Wonderful Get Away

We had an amazing time is Sea Pines. The villa was perfect for us. Plenty of space, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. The lagoon off the back deck was my favorite part. It is so relaxing and the Spanish moss dripping off the trees is gorgeous. We loved all the birds and especially the alligators. We also felt the location of this villa in Sea Pines is perfect. You can ride bikes to Harbor Town and South Beach but it’s also located where you can ride out of Sea Pines to Coligny! We would definitely recommend this villa and hope to be back.

Good house, inaccurate listing

Overall, we enjoyed this house. It’s charming and spacious with a view of mountains in the distance. Unfortunately, two of the rooms were not accurately represented in the listing. One of the bedrooms (with bunk beds) was supposed to include a Queen bed but there was no additional bed in the room. Additionally, this room was joined with one of the King rooms. There was no door to separate the rooms which made sleeping arrangements difficult. The King bed was not a comfortable mattress. There were no linens provided for the sofa beds. There were only 6 forks in a house listed for 10 people. When we contacted the host about these issues, they were apologetic and worked to remedy the situation. They were unable to do anything that evening, but the following day they dropped off a bag full of new pillows, linens, and flatware from the store. If the house becomes better equipped for a group of 10 and accurately portrays its setup, it could be a great place to stay.
