This hotel was centrally located and I loved the location! The hotel room was so welcoming and functional. I appreciate the coffee and free beer in the fridge! The bed and bedding were very cosy and comfortable. I also liked the little outdoor terrace.

The room was perfect, small but well lit, had a spacious window chair nook, fridge stocked with two beers and a bubble water, and a coffee/tea area in the room. We also really liked the style, art, and cool black and white tiles in the bathroom. Great location, and it was quiet enough to keep the window open.

Good location a block off main square and near river. Paid for a room including breakfast which showed as a 34€ charge for 2. But weirdly, we had to choose from a few odd choices, not from the cafe's main menu. So I'd skip the breakfast option and just go to one of the several bakeries nearby. We found the safe in a bedside table drawer on the 2nd day, and there was a 6 pack of condoms as well. Not sure if this was an amenity or leftovers from a past guest. There's no central HVAC system, but a fan and small heater in the room, so I wouldn't stay in a heat wave.

The central location is superb. The breakfast was outstanding. By saying it is 'cosy' that doesn't mean it's too small. It's compact, but more homely than the spacious, grand, chain hotels. It really is a nice place to stay, and ideal for a short city-centre break.

"Cozy and clean hotel! It's about a 10-minute walk from Cologne (Köln) Station. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the location is excellent—very easy to walk to all the major attractions."

The layout of the room was very good - attractive and an excellent use of space. The bathroom was modern and well-equipped. The room has French doors that fold in and create the feeling of a patio in your room. The room overlooks a courtyard and church. I visited during a heatwave and sadly the room was not air conditioned. The fan provided some relief.

Clean room, comfortable bed, and a modern bathroom. The friendly staff greeted us on check in and were helpful when asking for restaurant recommendations. Location was perfect! We were steps away from a Christmas market, food, shopping, and a two minute walk to the Rhine.

Our room was on the 5th floor up several flights of spiral stairs. We had backpacks, so this was manageable, but we avoided too many trips back to the room. The bed was in a loft with an angled roof. The balcony was charming with a view over rooftops to the Dom. Some noise from the beer halls was still audible even on the 5th floor. Space was tight but the storage was creative. Everything was very clean and staff cleaned and refreshed towels during the stay. The bathroom was modern and efficient.

The hotel was very nice overall. The rooms were very modern, clean, and well maintained. The location is excellent, right in the heart of the old town, Alter Markt and the Rhine just a few steps away. The breakfast was very good, served in the adjoining cafe. The only minor issue was the lack of full time reception staff which made check in and out a slight hassle.

Lovely stay

Lovely small hotel in excellent location in the old town. Easy walk from train station and too all sights. Cafe attached is lovely for breakfast. Staff were all lovely and spoke English.
