Just a three minute stroll to the city centre. The stag was incredibly friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

The room was very old, the toilet seat was broken and clearly been attempted to be fixed multiple times but failed. The beds were uncomfortable. The room and linens were clean but let down by the overall condition of the room. The staff were mostly unwelcoming but the location was perfect.

The hotel has a really good location and the room whilst a bit spartan was clean. Where I felt let down is that the hotel is a bit shabby and sometimes the staff were not around. I appreciate people are busy but getting your ket back should not take six minutes.

The hotel is not new but our room had been redone and was perfectly fine. The rate is really good for the location. Obviously being close to the cathedral means front row seat for the bell ringing ;-). So if you enjoy a lie-in, it's probably better to choose an hotel further away. The area around the hotel is great, lively with lots of options to eat.

We arrived to find the lift broken and our room on the 6th floor. The bedding configuration was not what we had requested and when we explained to the staff why we needed twin beds, they shrugged. Lift was eventually fixed and bedding provided for the sofa. The room was dated, ashtray on the terrrace was full. Convenient location

Overall, not a terrible place to stay for a few nights. It's a bit noisy outside with the cathedral bells in the mornings and people walking around at night, but the location is super convenient since it is right next to the train station and the Cologne Cathedral. Great location, 3 blocks away from Koln Hauptbahnhof and Cathedral. It’s an old hotel and it’s not renovated, however bed and bath were clean, at least for me cleanliness and location is all that matter in a hotel where you are only sleeping and showering.

The room is perfect for solo travel (double room could work for a couple) - I upgraded my room mid stay. My first room was a single room with a twin bed there was duct tape holding the toilet flusher on wall that was a first lol / my second room was a double bed and a floor up. I was curious - both rooms were very spacious and clean. No frills Hôtel , amazing for the cost and amazing location also amazing water pressure in showers. The front desk staff -Adam was very friendly and helpful!
