Ibis Kolenmesse Germany.

Room was clean and tidy good breakfast choices very polite staff. Only thing that needs addressing is no usb charge points seem like this is a real service thing nowadays with phones that need charging. Other than that it was ok for my needs.

Easy 5 minute walk to Messe East entrance. Super comfortable room. Soft bed. Good shower. Internet ok. Breakfast excellent choices. Secure luggage storage. Walking distance to trains.

The room was nice and cozy but the beer at the bar was disgusting and the waitress never gave a menu and didn’t understand basic English. The A/C didn’t work but the complaint never addressed

Review by travelling ambulatory wheelchair user

I stayed in Ibis Köln Messe for three nights. The hotel was modern, there was step free enterance and two elevators. I stayed in an accessible room as I'm an ambulatory wheelchair user. The room worked well for my needs. The room was spacy, it had hard floor and the shower was wheelchair accessible. There was a shower chair that was attached to the railing that could be moved to different positions or removed. The bathroom door was a sliding door and there were no doorstep. The room had full body mirror and the bathroom mirror was adjustable. The bed was accessible only from one side and from the foot end. Only thing that didn't work for me was that there were only two power outlets in the room and those were on the writing desk. There was no power outlets near the bed. I had to use an extension chord to get electricity for my CPAP. Two power outlets are too little in my opinion for this kind of room as people may have e.g. power chairs or other medical equipment that needs to be charged or plugged in. The room wasn't dirty but it wasn't super clean either. The soap was almost out since the day I arrived and even though I asked for a refill I never got it. Otherwise the service in the hotel was excelent. The staff were super nice and helpful. For an example they offered to help me with my luggage without needing to ask them first and after my first night I was asked if the room was sufficient for my accessibility needs. These kind of seemingly little things matter.

Great staff, decent breakfast, comfy beds, good bathroom with hairdryer and warm shower. Good space to store luggage and luggage contents (clothes etc.) Only drawback was that there was no kettle in the room but overall a great stay for a good price!

Zimmer sind zweckmäßig und modern eingerichtet. Das Bad ist eine Kabine aus Kunststoff, nicht ganz barrierefrei. Die Betten sind in Ordnung, es gibt aber nur eine große Decke für 2 Personen. Das Frühstücksbüffet ist sensationell, alles was das Herz begehrt und lecker.
