"We just returned from our Portugal adventure and want to share that Hotel Florescente is a rare gem. Definitely not your average 3 start hotel. The location is great for exploring and close to the Hop on-Hop off and trams. Our room was beautifully updated, clean, and comfortable, on the quiet side of the building. The breakfast was lovely, with enough variety to satisfy us. What really sets this hotel apart in our opinion is the staff. They really went out of their way to make us feel welcome, spoiled us for our anniversary, and were so helpful with recommendations. Paulo, Nuno, Vera, and the two gals in the bar area were standouts for us! "

"All staff I met during ny 3 night stay were professional, friendly and had good knowledge of Lisbon to pass onto us. The room was clean and very comfortable and refreshed daily. Bathroom was more than adequate with fluffy towels and lovely scented shower gel and hand-wash in dispensers. The coffee shop on the ground floor serves delicious coffee and pastries, sandwiches etc. Good location however i did find it noisy at night. 2nd floor room with lots going on in the street below !"
