Great property with a fantastic view from the deck. Excellent choice for a family with 1 or two small children. Very comfortable with amenities like a hot tub, outdoor grill, and a super nice host!

Quiet Stay in Colfax

The pros of this VRBO are it's beautiful and quiet location. Initially it was confusing about which house we were renting because of 3 cars in the driveway and outside lights on. A phone call to the owner quickly cleared up the fact that we were renting the top half of the house and the vehicles were his. It was a little depressing to find a Christmas tree still up in the living room, sticky wood kitchen cabinets full of old vitamins, spices... and a variety of unnecessary clutter that detracted from the ambience. Also we could not find the remote for the TV in the living room, nor any instructions on how to access the WIFI which was supposedly left inside the house. I didn't want to bother the owner for these things- they just need to be provided for future guests. My husband detected a RING camera in the living room that while being pointed to the outside might have been picking up our conversations.
