"My fiancé and I came out here with our dog for a small getaway for her birthday. The property is gorgeous and well kept. There is another property attached to the rental, however we had the whole property to ourselves when we went. The studio provided just about everything we needed for our stay and we actually really enjoyed the outdoor shower! "My fiance and I had such an amazing time here. We were looking for a last-minute getaway and there was one room left when I found it. From the moment we checked in, until the moment we left, the staff were very warm and inviting. The room was very clean - it did not have a fridge, microwave, or a/c unit so just be prepared for that. That did not matter to us though. It's perfectly tucked into a forest off of the freeway and the grounds were so stunning! We were able to play horseshoes which was super fun. Their restaurant on site has McDonald's prices, with AMAZING food options. The Brisket Mac n Cheese is a must try! It was quiet and a good location for us to have some adventures. There are so many good fishing lakes nearby as well. We will definitely stay here again. I cannot say enough good things about this lodge. It was one of the best experiences we have ever had. Oh and the bathtub...it was a Jacuzzi tub!! Which made for some nice relaxation after a long day of fishing."
