"First of all, Ken and Julie were absolutely the best hosts. Whatever question we had, they answered. The breakfast they set out each morning was delicious- Julie makes the best blueberry muffins. We had the entire area (sunroom, jacuzzi, barbeque area, outdoor fireplace area, and outside sitting area by the koi pond to ourselves. Everything was super clean. Our bed was comfortable. It is very clear that the hosts love this place and take great care of it. We cannot wait to go back."

"The property was beautiful. Everything yoiu would need was provided. It was off the beaten path so very quiet and woodsy. Our group of 9 were high school buddies (50 years ago) having our yearly golf trip. Several golf courses within 15 min and after a round of golf in the warm weather, the pool was a life safer. Everyone staying there said the accomodations were beyond their expectations."

"What an amazing relic of our California state's history! So beautifully kept & decorated. This is a magical place where you will feel you time traveled to the Gold Rush Era. I couldn't reccomend this place more! Especially to families who want to teach their childeren 1st hand about history or even those who want to host a unique setting for a wedding, etc. The staff couldn't be nicer & the town couldn't be more relaxing! I confident give this place 5 Stars in every area!!!!!"
