It's a walking distance to shops, restaurants and downtown Canmore. However, no microwave in the room. We were not inform by the front desk that we have complimentary beverages that is included in our accommodation when we checked in. For its price, I highly recommend to look other place that can offer much better service.

overall a good hotel at a very good location. Good value for money. The hotel can get 10/10 score if they work on the improvements listed below. What's good about the hotel - Walking distance to most of the restaurants and shops. - Good view from the room. Rooms are spacious enough - Comfortable beds and pillows - Good shower (water temperature/pressure) Needs improvement - Cleanliness in the room. Found few hair on the bed and a sock. They quickly cleaned up after I informed the front desk - The restaurant in the lobby may not be open everyday making it difficult to plan - The breakfast discount was not much. Breakfast was expensive in the next hotel and was not a great value for the money - The hotel doesn't have laundry option - No extra bedding was provided

Solara used to be a great place to stay but now it looks run down and poorly maintained. I got multiple scam attempts before our stay so when the last message came through Expedia, I didn’t even open it. Little did I know that I needed that message to check in and no one would be there at arrival. Check in was not easy and required a trip to another resort because Solara does not have front desk staff. I would not recommend staying here and will not return

The room was so much nicer than I expected! Wish we were staying longer. All rooms on one side of the hotel look out onto the hot tub which is a bit weird when you are in it and people are looking down on you. The bed was fantastic. The room was large and had a fireplace. Easy walk to Beamer's coffee shop and other shops. It was a great stay.

Other than the Air Conditioner did not work at all, it was a great place to stay.
