"He photos are misleading - one feels they are renting a beautiful retreat. It isn’t. The cottage is run down, with a large burn on the dining room table, holes in the sitting room ottoman, and a worn out couch that we all found incredibly uncomfortable. Lack of comfortable seating was the worst part of the stay - either one sits on the worn out couch, or the hard dining room table chairs. "The front desk staff were friendly and so helpful. The room was so large and very clean. The murphy bed was a huge hit with the kids. The walk in shower with the rain shower head was very nice! The pool was the whole reason we travelled from Edmonton, and it didnt dissapoint. The kids spent at least 3 hours each day in it, there was ample seating for those not swimming, and it was so clean and well maintained. The Jetz Lounge and the reastaurant had great food, great drinks, and very reasonsble pricing. The skyharbour breakfast buffet was also phenomenal! If we ever have a reason to book a room in Calgary, we will choose the Port O' Call every time! "

"I stayed this hotel twice in March. First, the bathroom got flooded with water dripping from the ceiling fan, the maintenance guy came in and I had to move to the different room. The staff didn't really care since the front lady never came out to say sorry and check to see everything was ok with the new room. Very disappointing. The second stay, I realized I never received a free drink coupon at all and upon check out, I asked if they are still offering. The front desk lady asked where I booked and said it depends etc. Great customer service. No apology, obviously she didn't care. Another disappointing stay. I'll never stay here again. "
