"A lovely village pub. I didn’t have a dinner, however, the breakfast, which was included in the room rate, was really nice, with freshly made coffee, which was good. The rooms are above the pub, my window faced the outdoor patio but I didn’t find it noisy. The room was large with a comfy double bed, and a nice sofa style chair for one. Everything was clean, and I’m really fussy about that. The bathroom was large as well, it was spotless, with an electric shower (in all honesty it is not the strongest shower I’ve ever had, but more then good enough, and this wouldn’t put me off booking again). All the staff I spoken to was lovely and helpful. It’s only 20 minutes drive to Saltburn, totally doable even if you just want to spend an hour there. I have nothing negative to say about my stay. Thank you!"
