"The accommodation was very homely, and having home cooked breakfast was a lovely touch. Walking distance from the local shops and train station made it very convenient to get around and get what i needed on a daily basis. Highly recommended and will visit again."

"I booked this hotel as it was walking distance to main line train stations and local shops. The hotel is very clean and tidy. The staff are very helpful. Lots of options to dine in and out, the bed was very comfortable, the room had a kettle for tea or coffee and complementary water bottles. "

Menu choices in the restaurant were great too as was the food
My only criticism is the special offer of 2 choices for a set price £25 was misleading as certain food choices which was the majority of the menu included a surcharge which I felt to be unreasonable with exception to maybe the steak dish to include a surcharge!
Two courses would of not been charged at £25 as advertised
That said I thoroughly enjoyed the dinner

"My husband and I booked to stay here as it was not far from Silent Pool. We were delighted to check in to Njdov (4) which is a lovely big room with a bath in the bedroom. Large walk in shower and huge bed. We also ate dinner in the garden. We were lucky it was a beautiful evening and a duck family flew into the stream. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I had steak and a lovely glass of Malbec. My husband had the Bunny curry (weird name for lamb 😆) That went down a treat too. I had the full English breakfast and Kevin had the South African which he really enjoyed. "

"We stayed here during a work trip. It was a great place to rest and spend time in the room. They have a bottom floor that’s underground that one of the staff put us in when we arrived early but was so appalling that we asked to change. The room we got was wonderful on the 1st floor, I don’t know if they see Expedia and just give you the worst room but it’s not the first time its happened in London. I also needed to upload 50gb and although the staff didn’t know how to help, we figured out ourselves that the internet is is way faster in the conference room close to the router that in our actual room, which saved me. It’s a great place to stay if you’re in town for work or pleasure. Would recommend. "
