I booked this hotel a day before our cruise. I chose it for the proximity to the Canada Place Terminal. The room was very clean. The staff are friendly and helpful with our questions. It is an old property. Not the typical hotel you will find in the heart of downtown Vancouver. For the price we paid I expected something more. It felt more like a motel than a hotel. The hotel notifications are a bit over the top. I was getting messages 2-3 a day asking me to check out. I know the check out time is at 12 pm and we decided to stay until check out time since our embarkation was not till 1 pm. It was explained to me it was done so the check out process for the guest is stress free. But we got more stressed in the process and felt pressured I had to double check to make sure the check out time was indeed at 12pm. I was also getting messages from the hotel and the font was so small it was unreadable. Tried zooming but did not work.

I love that they provide a nice glass of Rose champagne upon check-in.

Pools were not available first night. Upsetting, but the room was nice, evening was nice. Just hot tub and pool were key down. First night and morning.

Everything was spot on

Room smaller than the pictures showed. Washer and dryer in room very noisy not good for travelers like us. We go out in the morning and can not wait washer finish to put in dryer. We come back in evening and do laundry it’s too noisy we can not sleep. Only one house cleaning for the 8 nights stay. Also location is too noisy for night sleep. Downtown cars night club is right cross the street. Room 208 is almost next to the elevator. Kitchen is nice and helpful though.
