"My huge disappointment was that they offer a shuttle to the airport- the reason I booked the hotel. Problem is they don’t tell you that they only take you to gate 8 ! I was traveling with my 91 year old mother and wanted to make traveling easier for her. I needed to get to gate 5. It was a big production to get there. I had to rent luggage carts - find directions to elevator that takes you to the tram- get off at gate 5. It was a lot of walking for a 91 year old woman and a lot of stress and a good half hour time delay to get to gate 5. False advertising- and it created a lot of stress !! Same problem returning from my trip and walking a couple miles to get to where the shuttle picks you up. It was a nightmare ! "

"Room was excellent. Clean and modern Breakfast options were limited The only complaint was that my room was next to a major road and the noise was uncomfortably loud. I checked the windows to see if they were open but I just saw ancient aluminum framed windows. They desperately need to get them replaced with modern dual glazed PVC windows to cut down the noise. The traffic noise woke me up twice in the middle of the night. Avoid room 200 or the ones above it. If the noise wasn’t there, it would have been a very comfortable stay. "

"I chose this hotel for convenience near JFK, but the stay fell below even basic expectations. The room appeared surface-level clean and the bed was comfortable, but there were several issues that shouldn’t be overlooked. The window blinds were broken, which impacted privacy, and more concerning, there was visible mold above the shower in the bathroom, which raises serious cleanliness concerns. Parking is limited to street parking, which happened to be available, but a hotel serving travelers should offer a more reliable option. The continental breakfast was also very minimal—waffles, apples, yogurt, toast, and coffee—with no hot items like eggs, bacon, or sausage, and limited creamer options. The one highlight was the free shuttle to the JFK AirTrain, which is quick and convenient. Overall, I would only stay here again if absolutely necessary. There are clear areas where maintenance and overall standards need improvement."
