"We stayed here for two nights and enjoyed our stay. It was comfortable and clean, and well located. We found a lack of bathroom amenities like body soap, but made do. I suggest future guests bring their own soaps. Otherwise we had a great stay! Thanks to the hosts."

"This was a very low key and relaxing place to stay. There weren't a lot of rules for clean-up that made it feel like you were doing something wrong. Very simple - keep your bed unmade and put your towels on the floor and close the windows. The owner was responsive and kind. Nice cottage feel to the place. We would stay time and time again."

"We were in town for work. This home was a great place to come back to each night & relax. Quiet, clean & comfortable. We loved the open spaces & all of the windows! Not a huge problem... but the internet is satellite... and unfortunately, it rarely worked. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend!!!"

"Small cabin, yes. Perfect for a family of up to four, max. Perfect for a couple. This cabin is absolutely delightful, though. I would love to come back to it. It is actually a bit bigger than these photos make it look, and has a great outdoor space around it. It is also well appointed and the decorations and style are perfect."

"We stayed in the house for 5 nights. we got in late and the heater was going for us already. the house was just as described, a peaceful log cabin in the mountains. it is conveniently located out in the country but not too far out of town to get supplies from town. everything was clean and all the appliances operated properly. we mentioned that we all drank coffee and the next day he bought an additional coffee machine without us asking for one. "This property is full of character. Everything we needed was available for cooking, showering, bonfire....We had room to spread out and have some privacy. The location was great for Seneca Rocks, Spruce Knob, Dolly Sods, Blackwater Falls and two caverns. We had a blast!"

"We stayed one night, had really hot water, clean beds, comfy living room, fully stocked kitchen, and a huge porch to hang out with a great view. The rain kept us from having a fire but theres a nice fire ring. Absolutely recommend staying here"

"If you want to get away from a busy life, this cabin offers that. On the plus, it has internet and we didn't have much of a problem with Verizon Wireless with our phones. Be sure to bring your groceries; you can find milk and bread nearby. Creek can be fun for ages 8 and up. Fished a little without luck, but we're novices."

"Property was very clean. A couple of comments, not problems. 1) It would help to have the wifi logon and password posted or given to the renter. 2) A channel listing for the TV would help. Also, shielded cables for the cable, tv, and router would help. There was interference with the tv signal when we talked on our cell phones, the bathroom heater kicked on,and when we made coffee."

"Our Cheat River stay this second time, was exceptional.. They did some changes (an overhang over the hot tub) that we thought was going to be bad (You want to see the sky there) But turned out awesome! We were able to be in the hot tub with snow and sleet coming down AND able to watch baseball at the same time. The beds were comfortable, pots and pans and everything we needed for a great stay. Also, the mgmt was very responsive when we needed them. We will for sure be back!! Thank you!!"
