"Five star for location. Easy five minute walk from Monterosso Train Station. Conversely, easy walk to everything you want to do in the beautiful area of Cinque Terre. Nice breakfast with beautiful area under pine trees and Palms to eat and plan your day. Incredible staff. One thing to note, fantastic option to fill a load of dirties for 15€. Gave it 9AM back, folded at 3pm. 2min walk to free public beach. Staff is incredible 6-stars. Especially, Emma. Love you girl! Two stars for shower....

"Very clean room and fantastic owner and family, They were very nice and friendly and were contactable very easily throughout the trip. The breakfast is small but good selection of food (Italian style! ❤️). The walk to the town/train station is about 35 minutes down a very steep cliff edge, the views are amazing but I would recommend hiking back up before dark otherwise you can walk the main road which is very long and steep. However it is was very enjoyable and I would definitely recommend, they’re in a prime location and we managed to see all the towns by train, we will be back!"

However it's right on top of the hill. finding the address is not easy as the entrance is in a narrow back alley, it is a sharp uphill and the place has a tight stairs that are not suitable for heavy luggage. "We had a lovely stay in Volastra. The private parking was a huge bonus, especially since parking in the surrounding towns can be difficult to find and expensive. The property is beautifully situated on top of the hill, with a peaceful atmosphere and easy access to the surrounding area. Antonella was wonderful and so welcoming! She gave us helpful recommendations for walking down to Manarola, including the bus schedule for getting back up the hill and where to buy tickets for less than paying directly on the bus. She even offered to make us a coffee at 6:30 AM when we had an early checkout and couldn’t stay for the included breakfast, which was such a thoughtful gesture! She speaks French as well. A great spot to stay if you decide to visit Conque Terre, as I heard that you can also buy train tickets from her for cheaper."
