"I booked in the annex building and was assigned to Room 509. I am 5’ll” in height and kept hitting my head on the room’s ceiling beams. Not sure if all the rooms are all the same. Other than that, the location is perfect and centrally located in Venice, the hotel staff are great, and the hotel is very clean. "

"Lovely bedroom, we upgraded to a canal view, which was well worth it and had a small balcony over looking the canal basin where to gondolas park at night. Staff super helpful. Bed very comfortable. The location was perfect, just off St Marks Square, making getting the Alilaguna Water bus to/from the airport super easy. Breakfast plentiful. Great stay. "

"Great location. Efficient and knowledgeable staff. The room was excellent, spotlessly clean and with comfortable beds. There is no lift in the building so please be aware of you have lots of luggage or struggle with mobility. "

"The hotel was very traditional and in a fantastic location, about 20 minute walk to the square and very close to lots of great reasonably priced bars and restaurants. At the hotel We were always greeted very warmly by staff, particularly Mustafa! Our room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was simple but enough, with pastries, toast, fruit salad, eggs, hot and cold drinks etc"

"*In the morning (only stayed 1 night) found bed bug. Took video and showed employee. *Booked a family of 4, only 3 bath towels provided. So I went to the lobby, which was empty and was about to ask for another towel, when two groups of new customers arrived and tried to cut line, with the employees approval (after all, I already booked). Tired of this line cutting, I insisted that I be helped. *slight unpleasant smell permeated the hotel * Location was near St. Mark's which was a plus."
