"Perfect, very affordable Boutique Hotel! I love Santa Barbara and never had a disappointing experience at any of the smaller boutique places I choose, and this one was no exception. Very stylish and tasteful beautiful grounds and in a nice safe area although here are no "bad" areas in Santa Barbara. There are several restaurants a short walk and of course the onsite one I wish I dined at. Places like this are such a refreshing alternative to the typical faceless "sensory deprivation" decor you usually get at corporate hotels. I should only mention I chose the room with the pull-out sofa bed, Staff did their best to talk me out of it and upgrade me for free but I wanted the room because it was large and had a variety of furniture including a second sofa to lounge in. I can sleep on a brick floor so I managed but the mattress was a bad as they get with flimsy springs that collapsed down to the metal bars under my 180 pound body. I don't know that they were thinking providing that but Staff told me management intends to get rid of it and put in a normal bed. This was not the norm for the rest of the rooms. I stayed midweek as it happened on New Years eve having decided to break my drive from the Bay area in two and wait out the storm. Rates were probably rock bottom, but my room was about $140 less than another boutique place I often stay at right on the beach down at the harbor so if you're on a budget I highly recommend this hotel and save your money for fine dining. "

"This house was perfect and accommodated our large family of ten comfortably!! The kitchen was so spacious and with two living areas no one ever felt crowded! It was the perfect location to visit the beautiful sights of Santa Barbara, and it offered us the neighborhood we needed with two kids wanting to bike and walk safely! The pool and hot tub gave us some time for relaxation as well! The host had all the essentials at the house, and a list of nearby shopping and eating recs on the fridge!! When we come back to SB, we will definitely stay here again!!! "
