"Hotel stay for 2 nights , clean older hotel . The elevator though was grimy , could tell they don’t mop or clean it inside. Room clean but only 2 towels for 4 people, just had to ask for towels. Nice pool area with plenty of chairs. Nice outside bar. Ate on patio outside the hotel restaurant - good food but not super busy and finally after 30 minutes had to flag down a waiter to take our order, even though they passed by us several times. Otherwise good price"

"We booked this room 20 minutes before we arrived and what an AMAZING stay we had for such a last minute booking. Another local hotel had mistakenly canceled our reservation and we were in something of a bind as our friends were staying at this other hotel. We needed something local and this was a block away. The staff was so friendly! Our room was clean and beautiful (the color drenching was an excellent touch). Our bed was so comfortable. And the location was just perfect. Our friends were jealous and wish they had also booked here, the original hotel (the same price point) was not nearly as nice. We can’t wait to return. Highly recommend!"

"Room was very clean and spacious. The bathroom shower/tub was the only area that wasn't as clean as the rest of the room but was fine overall. Very small packets are provided for shampoo, conditioner and body wash. I would recommend to bring your own. Parking is limited but you can park just up the street in the neighborhood if needed."

"The stay at El Encanto was great. The view from both the pool and the restaurant were awesome. The food was great as well. Had both a dinner and a breakfast there. The roasted whole chicken was the best chicken I’ve ever had. It’s a bit removed from the main part of town, which some folks may view as a plus or a minus. Highly recommend."

"Perfect location for my wife and me to escape for the weekend in Santa Barbara. We were able to hike, visit the Botanical Garden, e-bike around the beaches, and enjoy State Street. Would highly recommend this location if you like getting out and seeing all that Santa Barbara has to offer."
