We had a wonderful three-night stay here. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean, and I loved everything about it—the interior design, furniture, small details, and even the pleasant scent. The kitchen was fully equipped, and all the utensils were incredibly clean and well maintained, honestly the best I’ve seen among places I’ve stayed. The washing machine was also clean and easy to use, and we did laundry twice during our stay. Most of all, I truly appreciated the owner’s kindness. When I emailed about our late check-in, they replied quickly and were very accommodating. They were also knowledgeable about local attractions, and the discount coupons we received were a great bonus. Although the location is a bit away from the city center, there’s a bus stop nearby and we had a rental car, so getting around was easy. It was quiet and relaxing, and we were very happy with our stay. Since my English isn’t great and I couldn’t fully express my thanks in person, I hope this review does instead!

We enjoyed our stay very much and would love to have used the jacuzzi tub and kitchenette if we were able to stay longer. The owner was so helpful and friendly, and our room was spacious and comfortable. Good restaurant options in the area too!

What a great property. The owners were so nice. The rooms were clean and well stocked. We use the laundry facility, which was very nice. It is walkable to downtown and to the gardens, which was great. Several wonderful restaurants within walking distance as well. Really would recommend this property.

New Zealand lodging at its best!

It was a great experience-- we were welcomed by lovely owners who went out of their way to accommodate our requests and provide information. Conveniently located near wonderful restaurants recommended by the owners and had a fabulous meal. The room was very clean-- and by my standards, that is saying something! Would highly recommend.

Very clean and comfortable rooms with facilities even to do a simple meal in the microwave. Shower is super. Very pleasant property run with lots of care and interest given by kind lady and gent. Wi-Fi very good fast and uninterrupted. Lots of eating places near by in walking distance. Ideal for people like us who get long flights from abroad to Christchurch to relax before tour around the country. Highly recommend.

Family owned by a very nice couple that are on site. The room was very modern and not the normal hotel room layout. It was very clean all around. They had a booklet in the room that offered discounts at some of the surrounding food spots. We used 2 free drink cards from that at RR down the street. Parking is right out front of the rooms. The location is very central and walking distance to a small mall. There are several eateries offering mostly Asian eats but some of everything else too. The hot tub jacuzzi in the bathroom was nice to have. We would highly recommend this place to stay. Nicest so far on our NZ trip.
