A little gem of a hotel which it's excellent value for money. Modern, clean, stylish and comfortable. Definitely the best place I've stayed in, while in NZ.

The room was spotless and convenient with all the amenities we needed. The front desk and cafe staff were extraordinary in their courtesy and professionalism with warmth. We would give 5 stars just for that and for the room inside - what took a star away is the room was next to car park like a motel. Hotel is also not near to city center however is well served by bus route.

Golden Hotel is the one of the best accomodations I ever stayed at the reasonable price. Very modern bathroom facilities, Netflix, clean kitchen area and a comfortable bed. It was very quiet at night Highly recommend

My partner and I loved our stay at the Golden Hotel and will be booking when we come back to Christchurch again. The rooms were so clean and styled nicely and the bathroom was stunning, great shower too!
