We checked in late due to delayed flights, but by prior arrangement the keys to the unit were left inside. Had a surprise when we discovered electric blankets had been turned on for us that cool evening. Certainly worth a return visit if we were in Christchurch

setting of the Motel very good close to my training course. parking assessable clean and tidy, found construction work next door noisy during the day but nighttime was good. nighttime very well lit up. Staff very friendly and approachable, able to give good information.

We had a nice stay at Colombo in the City Heating was very good . We were kept nice and warm in the room even though it was very cold and didnt even need the heater at night. Convenient location and friendly staff. Going back to stay another two nights after our South Island tour.

Enjoyable Stay

Good location of motel which is about 10 minute walk into the city centre. Rooms are a good size and in good condition. The only real downside was that the wifi signal could be a bit weak at times. Overall i would stay here again.

Perfect stay in Christchurch.

Our flight was delayed, but the team did such an incredible job accommodating, to the extent of ensuring the electric blankets were on, and the place was ready for us to feel comfortable as quickly as possible. Thankfully we found this spot, so close to many things downtown as well as in such good condition.

The room was generally good but it did have a really odd smell - like farm animals? - and the upstairs bedroom was a bit annoying if you needed to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. On the upside the rooms were quiet and dark and parking was convenient.

A nice little motel in the heart or Christchurch city from where you can walk anywhere within the CBD. Everything was good with the room as well. If location is important, I would definitely recommend this motel.
