Rooms were spacious and had a proper air conditioner only a few blocks from city. It appears some rooms are rented out long term which have attracted noisy renters, I stayed 2 nights and the last residents were noisy till early morning, so my other booking in a week later was cancelled by me.

Didn't end up staying. Arrived only to find the motel being used for emergency housing, didn't geel safe to stay. Manager did have another site that they put us up in which was ok, othwise we would have canceled booking and found somewhere else to stay.

Not what we expected
Disappointed with rooms. We moved rooms after the first night due to noise and the second room was slightly better. Quite run down though - carpet worn through in places, only two stove elements worked, oven tray so dirty we gave up trying to clean it. Bathroom however was very clean and beds were quite comfy with clean crispy sheets. Guest Laundry was revolting; washing machine had some sort of scudge in it that could be wiped off with your fingers, there was another machine that was full of clothes, washing powder, pipes and appeared to be disconnected?! This was right in front of the dryer that presumably worked but you'd have to move the washing machine to get to it. We used a laundromat. They were very accommodating however when we asked to change rooms due to road noise and allowed us to leave our luggage in the room until we left for the airport at 2pm on the day of checkout as it was not booked. So 50/50 really for a short stay.

thanks for your feedback. the guest laundry was out of order and supposed to locked it down while waiting for new machines being installed in few days. In the meantime we provided guest laundry service in our staff laundry on request. we apologies for making your stay unpleasant. wish you all the best regards

Great value for money
Really good value for money and surprisingly nice for the price. Plenty of space, good facilities and was really neat and tidy. Staff were very helpful and forgiving when we made a mistake with a key. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again when visiting Christchurch.

Comfortable Overnight Stay.
The unit is quiet, attractive, well-positioned for easy walking to the inner city, friendly and welcoming. Reception staff were helpful and pleasant. I would definitely recommend the place and return for future visits.

we stayed here overnight before we flew home and were happy with the cleanliness and size of the room. Lynda was nice enough to upgrade us to a 2 bedroom unit which has loads of space + kitchen for our kids to relax in. Proximity to the city centre was also good although we were a bit lazy and didn't walk around but you could easily do it.

Nice place to stay. Bed was very comfy and place was very clean! Shower was amazing. Was so good to have a choice of a extra blanket for warmth. Heater was already on when we got there so that made the room nice and cosy. Staff were amazing!

Modern, clean 2 bedroom apartment within walking distance to CBD. Well furnished with comfy beds and kitchenette was equipped to prepare simple meals, not that you need to as there are good restaurants nearby. Owner was extremely friendly and helpful with directions and advice. We arrived early before check in time and she allowed us to park our car on premises and store luggage in room. Wish we could have stayed longer.

A bit tired looking
The unit was clean but strong pervading smell from cleaning product..Beds were reasonably comfortable. Bathroom excellent as had been upgraded but overall a bit tired looking. Leather sofa had some suface peeling.

The photos are very nice, and they do show the good side of the unit, but it was quite cold ( there is a heat pump) and got not sun, not even on the deck On the plus side it was very quiet

We appreciate your comments and have been on a mission to install heaters in the back bedrooms with still a few units to complete. We have however supplied fan heaters for these rooms but upon checking I see some have gone for a wee walk so will replace them today. Being so close to the centre of Christchurch has lots of plusses and the traffic volume can be busy at times. If you are ever back this way please feel free to ask for a quieter unit set at the back of the property.
