Location good about a km to walk into town over the Avon River. Plenty of food places once in town. Only negative was I stayed on a Saturday night and the boy racers were hooning up and down street so was a little noisy thankfully this didn’t last all night.

Property was great, manager beauty, very clean but room 10 was infront of laundry, washer n dry constantly going, would have loved outdoor seat, as sun only on that side of motel late afternoon, staying for a couple nights would have been great, we stayed 7 nights, will know next time what to ask for. The owner was fantastic! The manager has also be amazing. The hotel is clean, tidy and so close to downtown. Its a bargain.

Nice kitchen

The unit was well presented, spacious, clean and nice decor. I mentioned no hot water in the kitchen and this was attended to immediately. My laundry was washed and dried for me at a reasonable price. Within distance of most areas. Enjoyed my three night stay there.

We pulled bed out and things behind there needs fixing, around oven would catch on fire if we were to light it. One the other note the bathroom was clean and really awesome showers. We did have a good time and for the price was good

The staff at check in was nice, nothing special, the room was clean. Very disappointed in the condition of the motel. Dates, had a horrible odour throughout the rooms and bathroom. Tiny amount of toilet paper and generally poor.

I found it to be very comfortable,bed was perfect, I did ask to have the shower door looked at as it had come off the hinges,eventually I managed to fix it myself.I also asked for more soap in dispenser,never happened.

You get what you pay for

This motel is used for transient workers and social housing. It is very quiet however. When we arrived the person on the desk wasnt terribly interested and spoke next to no English. The room had a TV but no access to free to air channels. They badly need to add freeview. Netflix didnt work because they hadnt paid the bill. This was resolved. Unit was clean and serviceable. Beds were comfy and the shower was awesome. Good points more than balanced out the bad. Its reasonably close to centre of christchurch

The property is very conveniently located to the city. The room was also quiet & I didn't hear the neighbours, either to the side or above. Check in was a nightmare as I arrived at 630pm. The office was locked with no-one inside. In addition the phone number that was posted on the door went unanswered despite calling & leaving messageS, plural. I eventually got in around 40mins after arriving once I got the attention of an off duty maid. This needs to be fixed. The room was clean, tidy & quiet. My only criticism were that the bathroom clearly had no insulation & was freezing. There were also tacks sticking up from where the bathroom & main room met. Apart from that it was fine.
