About this property

Shepherds Cottage - Foscot, Chipping Norton

  • Located in the charming Cotswolds village of Foscot, Shepherds Cottage is a beautiful 17th century, detached Cotswold stone cottage. This characterful cottage seamlessly combines stunning features such as exposed stone walls, wooden beams and an original inglenook fireplace, with all the modern comforts you would expect from a perfect home from home. Tastefully furnished throughout, Shepherds Cottage is ideal for all seasons; the wood burning stove makes the sitting room a cosy space to relax on those chilly evenings, whilst the partially walled garden is ideal for alfresco dining on a summers evening.

The snug is central to the cottage and from there is the downstairs shower room and the stunning sitting room with its original fireplace and wood burning stove. Situated in the Heart of the Cotswolds, nearby there are some excellent pubs such as the Kings Head in Bledington (within walking distance), the Wild Rabbit and the Plough in Kingham, and the popular Daylesford Organic Farm Shop.
