"Beds were excellent, cottage was clean and well equiped. Arrive Friday 20th around 14:15 and was told check-in was not until 16:00, bit we could buy and extra hour for a fee. This seems rather a poor way to welcome guests who are spending Hundreds of pounds on accommodation. On later checking the "welcome letter" it actually quoted 15:00 check-in. It left a bad taste from this 1 reception person. Otherwise the stay was good."

The carpets areceorn and dirty, they need changing or at the very least cleaning. 2. The hot water in the shower takes too long to heat up (approximately a minutes) 3.
