The hotel exemplifies some of the best qualities of Bogota - unrivaled hospitality, style, wit, glorious food, and warmth. The only place I stay in Bogota, home away from home. "the front desk was not very helpful at all. I reserved a room with two queen beds and they gave me a king bed and a sofa bed. i explained to the front desk that wasn’t what I wanted and he argued that it was a better room. I had to get angry to be placed in the room I desired. I also asked if they did laundry and the front desk attendant said no. The next morning room service came to pick up laundry and I spoke with her and she said they did laundry. They had my clothes that night. She was very nice. The food at the restaurant was delicious and they put Colombian food for tourist. I enjoyed having all the local fresh fruit and desserts such as brevas etc. The wait staff when above and beyond when they ran out of brevas and got me a special one made for me. The shower was ok. I personally was not impressed with the facilities. There are a few restaurants near and that was nice. The hotel had nothing such as restaurants or bar. At night it was noisy. Every night people looking for their cars in their parking lot would make their cars beep. You could hear dogs barking. I recommend ear plugs. This hotel was ok."
