Very affordable place to stay for 2 nights in downtown Chicago! The room is spacious but because it is close to the train track and major street, so it is very noisy all night long. Bring ear plugs!

한글로 적을게요 :) 개인적으로 만족스러웠습니다. 아침식사도 좋고 서비스도 좋았어요. *아침식사는 저는 빵이랑 삶은 계란 바나나만 먹었는데 좋았어요. 사람들도 좋았고 방에 화장실이 하나씩있는데 저는 밖에 있는 화장실과 샤워실 이용했습니다. 아무래도 방에서 소음을 내고 싶지않아서요. 아무래도 8명이 같이 자니깐 코 고는 소리 사람들 준비해서 나가는 소리같은 건 들리는데 저는 귀마개하고 자니 너무 잘 잤습니다. 침대도 개인적으로 좋았어요!! 강추!

Close to numerous train and bus options and lots of attractions and dining as well. This was my first stay at a hostel and it was an overall highly positive experience. I opted for a women's en suite, which was 6 beds and a private bathroom. The bathroom had separate doors for the shower and toilet, making the facilities accessible. The en suite was the best of both worlds - sharing a space and meeting new people, but not as large as one of the bigger sleeping areas. The communal areas for dining, leisure, and activities were spacious. Hostel guests were a wide range of ages and backgrounds. I met lots of interesting people but also had enough space to have time to myself when I needed it. Had I known about all of the activities available at the hostel, I would have better planned my trip around some of them. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Free breakfast and coffee was very basic but a helpful way to start the day. I met the most people at breakfast. I loved that the facilities had water bottle refill stations, hand sanitizer stations, and both recycling and waste receptacles everywhere. There were also a variety of vending machines in multiple locations. I had an interesting and unique experience and would definitely stay there again.

I had a great stay ! Rooms were clean , great customer service ! Didn’t like that they charge to hold luggage at check out , but everything else was great. It’s affordable, near lots of restaurants and right next to the train station and buses ! I highly recommend

I’ve been staying at more hostels and shared spaces and this is prob my favorite so far. It was verrrry clean, spacious and friendly. Would totally come back glad I went with it. I got the full bed single room and it was perfect, private and clean, it was a bit cold so more blankets are needed but overall great.

Nice and social hostel, meet some friends at complementary museum tour. Some weird people nearby the downtown area but it’s normal in US, security at lobby at night make me feel safe.

It was the second time that I stayed at Hi Hostel Chicago with a four shared bedroom and the experience was amazing. Both people who I shared the room were very friendly and polite. The only thing that I didn't like that much is that I was with 4 big luggage and no one from staff came to help me, I had to deal with them all by myself.

What was very unique was MARIO the front desk guy . He went beyond his service to help me find a screw nut to put together a walker so we can make it to the airport . This young man might need a raise soon. Good guest service

Awesome as always, larger than New York and San Diego! Huge comp breakfast, Cuban cafe. I like the food choices in NY better, but I don't remember a comp breakfast in NY. Great view!
