"The description of the fully equipped kitchen was misleading. Fortunately I had looked as the photo of the kitchenette and realised that there was no oven or microwave. Ok for a night - wouldn’t want to have stayed longer."

"Decent property for a single night stay with a family. Hard to find in the dark and no parking, though on-street parking and car parks are available locally. Three bedrooms with a small kitchen and wet room. Nowhere specific to eat as a family but small tables in each room were fine. Had to phone on the day to get the key code. This could be made more obvious - or the owner could communicate more proactively. "

"Cheddar and the surrounding area is such a lovely part of the country and the Gatehouse matched that. The bed was large and very comfortable, the lounge perfect for snuggling away the evenings and the shower particuarly good! Parking also could not have been easier. Do note though, a lot of the roads in the area are narrow and twisty without footpaths so a small car is preferable and beware when walking them."

"A comfortable property with plenty of room, a full kitchen, dining and living room, washer/dryer, and an overall good value. Perfect for a family with children. For us it was a quiet alternative to staying in Bath, with frequent and convenient trains and only a short walk from the station. Bradford-on-Avon is a quaint town, not too crowded but with several nice restaurants, shops and destinations. We didn’t have a car but it looked like there were car parks and street parking nearby.
