"I prefer a local boutique neighborhood hotel to a chain, and The Carlyle Inn delivers that experience. The Robertson-Pico neighborhood is a lively area of LA bordering on Beverly Hills. A well-maintained property overall, the room was spotlessly clean, and the king bed very comfortable. The front desk is staffed 24 hours a day. I received free self-parking as a VIP bonus. Tip: use the bath mat when showering; the tub was very slippery. "
"The breakfast at the Olivia is terrific! Location is great, easy access to both Downtown and the West Side. Clean, comfortable, modern--a lovely amenity on this side of town. Check your room location --the back (south) and side (east) may be the quietest.
All in all, we liked this a lot and highly recommend!"
Beverly Wilshire - Beverly Hills, A Four Seasons Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"The staff is beyond helpful and courteous. The hotel has a historic feel with a modern and sophisticated flare. We walked for coffee and sat outside in a courtyard to enjoy the beautiful weather and Beverly Hills vibe. We also had breakfast at the hotel which faces Rodeo Drive. Amazing food and atmosphere including Cut, a Michelin steak house in the hotel. Some great restaurants are within walking distance and others a short ride away. The best spot for shopping, right at the foot of Rodeo Drive. The pool is small and tucked away and there aren't a lot of seats but other than that this hotel is perfect. "
