Country feel convenient location

My wife and I were visiting family and attended a wedding over the weekend. Our family lives never York SC and the wedding was at Separk Mansion in Gastonia NC. The house was conveniently located between the two locations. The house was impeccably clean and Mark our host was so helpful and accommodating. We'll definitely stay again.

Wedding trip

It was as described but based on the photos we were looking forward to sitting by the fireplace. It was a cold and rainy weekend and I brought hot chocolate. Due to the weather there wasn’t a lot of outside time and we were there less than 48 hours. Overall a nice place with lots of room. Well stocked.

Fantastic getaway

Simply immaculate! The property was so peaceful, loved drinking coffee on the screened in porch! So beautifully decorated! The host had everything, from snacks to breakfast stuff even a bottle of chilled wine in the refrigerator! Spices to cook with, and coffee and tea of different kinds! He even had coffee beans and a grinder if someone like me wanted to do that!! We plan on returning!!

Older home in a peaceful neighborhood not too far from town. Only issue we had was all bedrooms are located on the second floor so older adults had to climb the stairs which were a little steep. Otherwise no complaints. Host responded timely to all communications.

Wonderful Place, Quiet Location

We really enjoyed our stay! Beautiful home with all the personalities touches. Mark went above and beyond the usual. We werw welcomed with a bottle of champagne, bottled water, a bowl of snacks ( the good kind too), alomst every small kitchen appliance you could need along with toiletries for each bathroom. Quiet location in a cul-de-sac, woodsy backyard. No complaints but only suggestion would be to have a blind or curtain for the back bedroom window. We would definitely stay again and appreciated all of the little touches feom Mark.

The house was clean and tidy. However, when we arrived, someone was parked in the drive. We had to knock on a door to find the owner of the vehicle in order to park. Once inside, the temperature was 52 degrees. We turned on the heat and by the next morning, it was only 62 degrees. We had to sleep in our clothes because it was so cold on the inside of the house. Other than these issues, we liked the house.
