"We loved this hotel, it has a serene quality. Perfectly situated just off King Street, close to historic Rainbow Row, on a corner by a dynamic fountain and a pier, close to restaurants, bars, galleries and shops, it was a quiet, calm and cool retreat from the bustle and heat of Charleston. Our room was spacious and well appointed, the staff; friendly and very helpful. Breakfast on the roof terrace- great views- or where you choose to take it, was pre-ordered and delicious. We loved the little touches the hotel provided: on tap tea & coffee, water stations with various natural flavours ie lemon, mint etc, a late afternoon glass of wine, cheese and nibbles laid out in reception and fresh baked cookies later on in the evening.Most appreciated. Valet parking, which was reasonable in the context of other downtown alternatives, allowed us to dump the car for a couple of days and explore this highly interesting city on foot. A very enjoyable stay which I would happily repeat at the Harbour View Inn."

"Absolutely amazing facility and staff. My wife and I arrived and was greeted by Michael. Michael texted me asking if we needed anything, checked in on us daily and honestly rolled out the red carpet. I would rate our stay an 11 out of 10! No really it was amazing."

"The Nickle exceeded my expectations. The staff was warm and welcoming, the decor and vibe was immaculate, the courtyard was such a nice touch— and the surrounding area was delightful. I highly recommend booking an in-room massage with Zendulgence while you’re there— it was worth every penny! We will be staying at The Nickle again! "

"Location of the hotel is excellent. The hotel itself is very pretty, and the included continental breakfast is very good. Rooms are small, but that's typical for a boutique hotel. Parking is valet only and pretty expensive, but the valet folks are nice. The worst part of the hotel is the staff. Not warm. Not welcoming. Any questions to them felt like I was bothering them. The person handling the kitchen and breakfast wasn't warm either. I mean, the hotel is pricey... Crack a smile, maybe?"
